HomeCOMMON QUESTIONS
The ones we get asked most. If yours isn't here, ask Edgar in the corner of the screen, or just give us a ring.
- How many venues are there at Edgar's Inn?
- Four, on the one corner in Ainslie. Downstairs is Edgar's Pub & Café, with Mama Dough's wood-fired pizza next door. Up the stairs are The Inn, our neighbourhood restaurant, to the left, and Wakefield's Bar & Wine to the right.
- Where is Wakefield's Bar?
- Up the stairs from Edgar's pub and through the doors to the right, with a host stand at the top. It also has its own entrance around the corner at 2 Wakefield Gardens, Ainslie.
- Can I eat Mama Dough pizza in the other venues?
- Yes, at Edgar's downstairs, where the pizza is on the menu from 11:30am every day. The Inn and Wakefield's have their own menus.
- Can I order pub food upstairs?
- No. The pub menu, the weeknight meal deals, the Jolly Joker and the Sunday roast are all downstairs at Edgar's only. The Inn and Wakefield's each have their own menu.
- Are kids welcome?
- Kids are welcome throughout Edgar's Inn. Downstairs at the pub is the most family-friendly space, and there are usually a few kids about.
- Is there disability access?
- Edgar's downstairs is fully accessible, and the beer garden is flat the whole way. The Inn and Wakefield's are up a flight of stairs, so access there is limited. Ring ahead on (02) 6257 5488 and we will do what we can for you.
- Do I need to book?
- Walk-ins are always welcome. Booking is worth it upstairs at The Inn and Wakefield's, and downstairs for a group, trivia Monday or a sunny Saturday. If one room is full we will find you a table in another.
- Can I have a function at Edgar's Inn?
- Yes. The private dining room seats 12 to 20, The Inn seats up to 50, Wakefield's holds up to 70 for a cocktail function, and the entire first floor takes 75 to 130. Downstairs, the Mama Dough beer garden takes 35 to 55.
